Cost of Gorilla Permits in Uganda (as of 2025):
- Standard Gorilla Trekking Permit: $800 for foreign non-residents, $700 for foreign residents, and UGX 300,000 for East African citizens.
- Gorilla Habituation Experience: $1,500 per person (available in Bwindi only).

- Tips:
- Book at least 3–6 months in advance, especially for peak seasons (June–September, December–February).
- Provide your preferred trekking dates and location.
- In Rwanda gorilla trekking is done in Volcanoes national park which is located in the northern part of Rwanda in Ruhengeri district. and gorilla permits are sold at $1500/ person per trekking
